Beltinge Bay, Herne Bay: Hidden Clifftop Beach with Fossils

Beltinge Bay is a hidden coastal escape east of Herne Bay, known for fossil hunting and cliffside views. Great for quiet walks, photography and exploring Kent’s natural beauty.

Beltinge Bay is the perfect place for anyone who wants to avoid crowds because it is far quieter than the nearby, Herne Bay Central Beach. The beach is bordered by grassy cliffs that provide breathtaking sweeping views of the Thames Estuary and the shoreline. Long hikes along the cliffs are enjoyable, especially at low tide when the beach is more exposed.
